Hello! This is my first blog...getting ready for my traveling adventure. I hope to be able to post somewhat regularly so that you can keep tabs on my trials, errors and certain humorous situations of getting very, very lost.Look forward to tales of interesting foods, funny words and expressions and other elements of culture adjustments.

Holly, if you think you'll have time to do some traveling within Mexico I can give you the names of friends of ours who are rug weavers in a small village called Teotitlán, about 30-40 miles from Oaxaca City.
It's a considerable bus ride from the City to Oaxaca (or a good trip to Puebla and then to Oaxaca) so let me know if you have any interest or time.
